About This Project

CircularTree is a Scope 3 emissions management and GHG tracking platform built for a client focused on sustainable supply chain solutions. The platform helps organizations detect, measure, and reduce emissions across their full value chain — including suppliers, logistics providers, transportation, and downstream product use — where Scope 3 often represents the majority of a company's carbon footprint yet remains the hardest to track. Built on Node.js and AWS serverless infrastructure with interactive React dashboards, the platform integrates Catena-X standards (EDC, Digital Twin Registry, BPN, DTR) for interoperable supply chain data exchange, alongside a data-driven framework for GHG measurement, emissions reporting, and blockchain-verified transparency. The result is a certified, scalable solution that supports net-zero goals while giving organizations and their partners actionable insight into hidden emissions across complex supply networks.

Challenges

• •Scope 3 emissions across suppliers, logistics, transportation, and product use are often invisible — yet typically make up the majority of an organization's carbon footprint.
• •Organizations lacked actionable insight from fragmented, distributed emissions data spread across partners and stakeholders.
